The main function of this role is to develop planned work packages for maintenance repair work and improvement projects based on priorities. The job plans must fully
satisfy the notification of scope and include all material, services and resources. This position must insure that sufficient amount of work is planned to satisfy production
needs as well as the available work hour capacity
This position requires close coordination with Maintenance personnel, as well as with the Production, Engineering Services, Process Services, Supply Chain Management and HSSE departments.
Knowledge of oil and gas industry and practices, including safety, environmental, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards. Knowledge and demonstrated experience planning industrial maintenance work.
Strong background. Capable to develop work packages involving rotating equipment, piping modifications, and soft crafts (scaffold/ insulation).
Advanced computing skills with a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite of products. Maximo experience preferred.
Comprehension of written specifications
Comprehension of P&ID’s.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)
Education and Certifications: High School Diploma or GED, and relevant technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance scheduler or coordinator in a natural gas plant, a petrochemical plant or refinery is required.
Effective organizational skills to be able to manage multiple activities timely and with a high degree of accuracy.
Written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, to interact with individuals and groups from different disciplines and levels.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Advanced Computer knowledge, including Maximo, Akwire and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing status.
