  • Unpack distributed equipment and materials; store in appropriate location until issued.

  • Notify appropriate department when ordered equipment and materials has arrived {Ifrequired deliver equipment and or Materials to appropriate department}

  • Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and conducting a percentage of inventories monthly.

  • Use identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods.

  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

  • Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to Warehouse Foreman and Materials Manager.

  • Receive and count stock items, and issue upon receipt of appropriate authorization.

  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

  • Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Must have 5+ yrs experience working in a Warehouse or Tool room.

  • Must have 2+ yrs experience working for an industrial construction project in a warehouse, tool room or equivalent material handler position

  • Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in the construction of a Combined-Cycle Power plant

  • Must be organized, have the ability to multitask, and have the ability to complete an accurate count on items received

  • Must have the ability to complete an accurate inventory on items received, issued, and transferred

  • Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively.

  • Must be detail Orientated

  • Must be able to train, advise and mentor

  • Must be computer proficient including a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must be able to quickly learn processed and adapt to changes quickly.

  • Must be able to follow directions precisely as given.

  • Must be able to work varying hours as required to support construction operations

  • Must be able to repair and inspect hand and power (electrical and pneumatic) tools.

  • Must be able to use tools such as hammers and drills in order to open crated materials received or to crate materials that are scheduled to be shipped.

  • Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.

  • Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull:  objects, materials, controls and tools.

  • May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.

     

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Current Zachry, Zachry ROF’ed employee or other Construction Project

  • Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.

  • Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

  • Preferred candidate will have previous experience in a Tool Room or Min/Max.

  • Preferred Candidate will have previous experience working in Tool Room or equivalent position.
