Position Summary: The position will consist of periodic inspections and gives on-site supervision over hazardous or unusual work assignments; assures availability of equipment, materials, and supplies.
Position Responsibilities:
• Plans, assigns, schedules, and supervises the work
• Supervises and coordinates the activity with craft workers to ensure that work is done safely, correctly and in a timely manner
• Use knowledge and understanding of the technical installation requirements for the work under his/her supervision, to include drawings, specifications, procedures and codes
• Must have experience in but not limited in terminating, stress cones, bending conduit, schematics, puling wire, off sets, cable tray
• Able to work at elevated heights
• Must be able to climb ladders both step and extension
• Have an understanding of the NEC
• Able to use and read millimeters and meggers and test equipment
• Connect power cable to equipment
• Observe functioning of the installed equipment
• Work with 24vac,120vac,208vac,240vac,480vac
• Able to distinguish wire colors

• Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical or trade school such as NCCER Certification

Reporting to this position:  Electrical Journeymen, Helpers and Laborers

Physical demands and work environment: 
• Physical demands:  Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.  Will talk and hear to communicate.  Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull:  objects, materials, controls and tools.  May be required to lift, carry and move heavy objects.  Will occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work off of platforms.  Will use vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception and peripheral vision.  Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.  Must be able to wear a respirator as needed.

• Work environment:  Will work in all weather conditions ranging from warm/hot – cool/cold.  Occasional rain.  Will work at different elevations. Noise levels will be moderate to high.  Job site will contain light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools.  Possibly people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking.  Bells, whistles and alarms.
